Introducing Student Societies and Associations to Our Overseas Students
Late in the afternoon on March 29, in the venue of our International Conference Center, our international students were treated to various presentations given by several student clubs, societies and associations.
Jointly organized by our Student Office and International Office, this event has been the first of its kind on this campus.
All international students and representative students from all our 32 student societies attended this presentation session.
Prior to these presentations, a gallery of photos was presented to our international audience by student narrators to leave listeners with a first impression.
Kicking off these presentations was our dance club, 7 Smile with their opening dance moves to the lively beat of music, raising the curtains of our show.
In fluent French, members of our French Club Amour conquered the audience with the beauty of French language through their exchanges and interactions with the audience.
Our Cosplay (costume dress-up as animation characters) Club, A.C.G. brought the audience into a kingdom of animation, a parallel universe, making a spectacular impact on its viewers.
Our travelers’ club, Flowers and Youth shared their fond memories of travels, winning round after round of applause from the audience.
Other student clubs also participated in this event before the curtain closed with the sound of applause. This event displayed our multi-facet colorful campus life enjoyed by our local students.
This presentation session also served to bridge up the gap for exchanges between Chinese culture and global culture.
