On October 27, 2017, a Russian language learning and testing center was formally established by Pushkin State Russian Language Institute on our campus.
So far, Pushkin Institute has set up 54 such cooperation centers in 34 other countries. And this center on our campus has been the first establishment of its kind in China.
On the same day, the first group of 71 local Russian language teachers began their training under the theme of Russian Language in Education Space in globalization.
On November 8, those teacher trainees were awarded training certificates. On the same day, 20 test-takers from H.I.U. sat their Russian placement test and 16 people passed their test. On November 9, they received their exam certificates.
Also on November 9, Vice Director Sun Yan entered into discussions and negotiations with her Russian counterparts on jointly compiling course books and assigning selected teachers among other specific issues.
